We are excited to announce a One-Week Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the cutting-edge theme: “AI Tools for Teaching, Research and Academic Writing” This FDP is being organized by the AMIEE Association and CMAOI Association in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and will be held from 06th - 10th April 2026 (Monday to Friday) from 2pm to 4pm.

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “AI Tools for Teaching, Research and Academic Writing” is a forward-looking initiative designed to empower faculty members, researchers, and academic professionals with essential knowledge and practical skills in the effective use of artificial intelligence across academic domains. The programme focuses on the integration of AI tools into teaching methodologies, research workflows, and scholarly writing processes, enabling participants to enhance productivity, creativity, and academic excellence. Structured with flexible evening sessions, the FDP ensures accessibility for both educators and working professionals. Through a well-balanced approach that includes conceptual discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and real-world case studies, participants will gain valuable insights into AI-assisted content creation, data analysis, literature review, academic integrity, and responsible use of AI in academia.

Spanning five intensive and engaging days, the FDP explores a wide range of AI-powered platforms and tools that support innovative teaching practices, efficient research methodologies, and high-quality academic writing. The programme blends theoretical understanding with experiential learning to foster critical thinking, ethical awareness, and informed adoption of AI technologies. Participants will learn how to effectively incorporate AI tools for curriculum design, research publication, plagiarism checking, referencing, and academic communication.
