Faculty Development Programme

We are excited to announce a One-Week Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the cutting-edge theme: “Generative AI & Large Language Models for Teaching, Research & Industry” This FDP is being organized by the AMIEE Association in collaboration with the Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM), Tekkali, AP , and will be held from 19th January to 23rd January 2025 (Monday to Friday) from 2pm to 4pm.

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Generative AI & Large Language Models for Teaching, Research & Industry” is a forward-looking initiative designed to empower educators, researchers, and industry professionals with practical and conceptual expertise in cutting-edge AI technologies. The programme focuses on the effective adoption of generative AI tools and large language models to enhance teaching methodologies, accelerate research productivity, and support industry-driven innovation. Structured with flexible evening sessions, the FDP ensures accessibility for academic faculty as well as working professionals. Through a blend of conceptual foundations, hands-on demonstrations, and interdisciplinary use cases, participants will gain valuable insights into prompt engineering, AI-assisted content creation, research augmentation, and responsible AI usage, preparing them to navigate and lead in an AI-enabled ecosystem.

Spanning five engaging days, the FDP will explore the evolving landscape of generative AI platforms, large language model architectures, and their practical applications across education, research, and industry domains. Emphasizing both theoretical understanding and experiential learning, the programme fosters critical thinking, ethical awareness, and collaborative problem-solving. Participants will learn to integrate AI tools effectively into curriculum design, scholarly research, and professional workflows, enabling them to leverage generative AI for meaningful impact and sustained innovation in real-world environments.
