One Week FDP on Interdisciplinary Applications of AI in Electronics & Communication

We are excited to announce a One-Week Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the cutting-edge theme: “Interdisciplinary Applications of AI in Electronics & Communication” This FDP is being organized by the AMIEE Association in collaboration with the MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE), Alandi, Pune , and will be held from 23rd February to 27th February 2025 (Monday to Friday) from 2pm to 4pm.

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Interdisciplinary Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Electronics & Communication Engineering” is a future-oriented initiative aimed at equipping faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals with contemporary knowledge and practical skills in AI-driven technologies relevant to the ECE domain. The programme emphasizes the integration of artificial intelligence with core areas of electronics and communication, including signal processing, communication systems, embedded systems, VLSI, IoT, and wireless networks. Designed with flexible evening sessions, the FDP ensures accessibility for academic professionals and working engineers alike. Through a balanced mix of theoretical concepts, hands-on demonstrations, and interdisciplinary case studies, participants will gain insights into AI-enabled system design, intelligent communication frameworks, data-driven electronics, and responsible AI deployment in engineering applications.

Conducted over five intensive and engaging days, the FDP explores emerging AI methodologies, machine learning models, and intelligent algorithms applied across electronics and communication engineering. The programme blends conceptual understanding with experiential learning to foster innovation, critical analysis, and ethical awareness in AI adoption. Participants will learn to effectively incorporate AI tools into teaching, research, and industry-oriented problem solving, enabling the development of smart, adaptive, and efficient engineering solutions. This FDP prepares participants to contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary research, advanced curriculum development, and AI-driven technological advancements in real-world ECE environments.
